Hello all. Is there any photos of the 5 headstones grouped together at the mini roundabout in Peel Green. I was interested in the Royal Navy headstone. The able seaman details are 21st Dec 41. HMS Queen Elizabeth. A quick check on wiki shows HMS Queen Elizabeth was hit will a limpet mine in Alexandria harbour on the 19th. Nine died. Is this sailor one of those KIA? thanks for reading

Hi Graeme, Is this the headstone that your refer to? Ord Seaman Clarence Hadfield, 23rd Dec 1940. Rank: Ordinary Seaman Service No: P/SSX 33186 Date of Death: 23/12/1940 Age: 18 Regiment/Service: Royal Navy H.M.S. Queen Elizabeth Grave Reference Sec. P. Grave 14579.
