We are currently looking in to the death of Wilfred George Burrow whose grave at St Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Wardley, states that he died of war wounds. He is not recorded on the CWGC database and we are trying to establish if he should be included.
Wilfrid was born in Lancaster in 1902/3.
The 1911 census shows:
Name: Wilfred George Burrow
Age in 1911: 8
Estimated birth year: abt 1903
Relation to Head: Son

Sub-registration district: Lancaster
Household Members:
Name Age
Thomas Burrow 43
Amy Burrow 45
Mary Elizabeth Stewart 22
Ethel Hartley 27

Wilfrid's father is shown as a medical practitioner on the 1911 census and his sister, Monica, who is also named on the grave, is shown on the 1911 census as attending The Nunnery (Catholic girls school) in Blackpool.
I think Wilfrid passed his final law exams in 1929 and became a solicitor.
The following entries from the London Electoral Registers may be Wilfred.
