Gardner J.P. of Ellesmere Park.After his recovery Boulanger received his discharge from the Belgium Army and obtained employment atNassan Mill in Cawdor Street, Patricroft. He contracted enteric fever and died in the hospital of the PatricroftBoard of Guardians.The Belgium Consul arranged the funeral, and the mourners included M. Gallé, the Belgium Consul inManchester, Mr. John H. Billinge, chancellor to the Consulate and M. Wauters.A large number of wounded Belgium soldiers, who are recovering from their injuries in various parts of thiscountry, including 24 from Summer Hill in Pendleton, attended the funeral.
