Private James Wallwork, 2nd Lancashire Fusiliers. Arrived in France 29/07/1915 Discharged 21/1/1917 Awarded the Victory, British & 1915 Star. Also received a Silver War Badge due to sickness.

Hi Garry,
The medal index is very interesting, the award of a silver war badge for disability/sickness ties in with what I had heard about James Wallwork having suffered from shell shock.Also the fact that William Rosamond may have been at Jutland has really made me want to find out more about the battle (I normally only ever read about the army during the world wars),fascinating stuff, can't thank you enough.
