James (Duckworth) will most likely be buried somewhere in the Blandford area, as that is where he died. It is possible, but unlikely, they would have paid to transport his body further afield. Similarly, Sam will most likely be buried (or possibly cremated) in the area where he died. Have you any ideas about where he lived after he remarried to Martha Copeland? James ain't in Blandford-----i got an email from the town clerks office this morning. I'll keep at it----i hope i find him before i come up there.

I have checked most of the Manchester cemeteries (Southern, Phillips Park etc), no luck I'm afraid.

Re Sam--------I need to know his dads name, BDM says he was married in Hayfield.....marriage certificate will tell me his dads name. Where in Hayfield do i try?, i cant see a definite number to call to give details and use my card----- or to buy on line. Help!! Plus.....i reckon mistakes have been made with the S (or lack of it) in Parkin(s)

Samuel Charles. I just want a copy of the certificate.
Sams birth was registered in Chorlton (i'm sure), married in Hayfield and died in Salford.

Sounds like they are unindated with orders, mine usually only take a week, there is the chance that you will get it earlier though
