For those of you who don't know I post ww1 medal's found on ebay and others places on the Manchester regiment forum daily, found this today could be of interest , first listed, posted on: May 19, 2013, 08:04:48 AM ยป manchester regiment forum. PAIR ,PLUS ODD ONE CPL 17342. J J Eaves. Manchester regt Item 17342. number:161028799404 posted today, with star and victory medal same soldier,CPL 17342. J J Eaves today we have 12 original WW1 photographs some marked with an arrow or cross indicating James Eaves in the pic one is a 'March past' Lord Kitchener dated March 1915 another shows him wearing Sergeant stripes and trio of medals and wound stripe. MIC shows Cpl/Sgt entitled to trio and GSM w/c Iraq GSM roll shows served with 2 Bn Manchesters and under remarks now serving with 7th Bn Lancs Fusiliers 290948383564 Item number: could be of interest, see photos  |

Memorial Plaque,Cardboard envelope & Memorial Scroll-Manchester Regiment.
Harry Martin (on Plaque) 'Serjt Harry Martin MM Manchester Regt' (as inscribed on scroll).
SGT 7683 H.Martin 2nd Battalion.
Born Salford;Entitled to 1914 Trio;Died of wounds 13/9/1918.
Awarded Military Medal LG 24/1/19 for bravery at Amiens with 32nd Div when 2nd Manchester rushed the 'Tour de Defiance' Pill Box on edge of Square wood 10-11/8/1918.
Scoll illustrated in 'Great War collectors companion' (see second photo).
With 2 photos of Salford war Memorial,and copies of CWGC & SDGW printouts and copies of Medal index card and attestation papers.
