As you can see, this memorial has three columns - the left column lists "serving" the central lists "killed" and the right lists "serving" Where is it now/what happened to it? Someone must know something? Attachments:

The scans just aren't clear enough to read the names accurately enough. I'm planning to go back to the library at Peel Park and do it the old fashioned way from the original photo. Paper and pencil time! Whoop! My 100th post! ;D Party time! :party0003:

I'm sure I did that as well (took out of the pack I mean). I could read the 'serving' columns on the original, and I think with my 15x lupe magnifier I might be able to make out the 'killed' column too. I can't get there until the week after next at the earliest (Tuesday 26th) so you can give it a try and see how it comes out if it's convenient for you. [EDIT: Just realised, I'm at the dentist at 11 that morning, so it'll be early afternoon before I can get there, too.]

This may appeal These Children were more than likely Sons and Daughters of men on the Whit Lane Memorial. Do you recognise anyone, we guess they must be aged between 5 and 8. Attachments:
