According to UKNIWM this memorial was lost along with two books of remembrance due to a fire in 2006. There is a replica of the memorial in a private residence, Nawton NORTH YORKSHIRE.

Thomas Southern husband of Caroline Southern, of 68 Halliwell Street, Salford died aged 47 on the 2nd December 1918. He was a labourer in a soap works.
Oh and he died of: 1) Chronic Brights Disease 2) Oedema & Cardiac Failure
I will get this DC off to the IFCP and see what can be done.

If anyone feels strongly that his name should be submitted I will gladly send the DC to you.

Garry hiya gary you have a good case,his pension records state that his condition was attributed to active service,send a copy of his DC and his pension record to the CWGC,i think you might be successful,at the end of the day,its down to the CWGC to decide mack

hiya gary. if they do accept him,then they will need to know where hes buried,otherwise they will just add his name to the brookwood memorial,this memorial is to servicemen who are buried in GB and ireland,but whos graves are not known.
