The memorial in Victoria Park commemorates the sacrifice of the men of Denton and Haughton, a website listing the names of the men can be found at the following link www.pittdixon.go-plus.net/denton/war-memorial.htm Unfortunately the name of Harry Hodgkins is not included.

The war memorial in Victoria Park Swinton was moved to the side of the Civic Centre, it is a war memorial to those killed in the 2nd world war only.
